AA Thornton proudly sponsored and took part in the Toy Trust Big Thames Challenge, which took place on Saturday 6 June in Marlow, South Buckinghamshire. Founded by the British Toy & Hobby Association (BTHA), the Toy Trust is a charity that exists to raise money predominantly from the toy industry, its suppliers and friends; and distributes the money raised to charities helping disadvantaged and disabled children within the UK and abroad.
There were a number of challenges for participants to take part in on the day, including a 20km Thames Path walk, 20km Thames Path run, 75 mile bike ride from Marlow to Oxford and back and the new addition of a shorter family friendly Thames Path walk to encourage those with children to get involved in the sporting day.
