AA Thornton support Admiral Group in successful sale of the Penguin Portals and Preminen businesses
We at AA Thornton are very proud to have supported the superb team at Admiral Group with their IP and trade mark needs over many years and, in particular, to have recently assisted them on the IP side of the sale of the Penguin Portals and Preminen businesses to ZPG’s comparison division RVU (announced here on 29 December 2020). Our team is pleased that our combined work has contributed to Admiral’s successful £508m+ sale, which includes the major European comparison brands Confused.com, Rastrator.com and LeLynx.fr, brands that we have helped protect and enforce for many years.
Admiral Group Head of Legal, Dan Caunt, commented:
“It is always reassuring to know that we have AA Thornton standing by to advise us all on IP and trade mark matters. Geoff Hussey and his team of lawyers and attorneys always provide us with first class advice and guidance. We would like to thank Sarah Neil for her great work on the recent sale of our European price comparison businesses to ZPG.”
We look forward to continuing our support for Admiral Group.
