The IACC worked with ICC BASCAP to organise the 2016 Annual Spring Conference. It was the first time that the IACC has partnered with another association on one of its Annual Conferences, underscoring their continued mission to collaborate with organisations to bring innovative engagement opportunities to members and the wider anti-counterfeiting community.
The Spring Conference focused on the theme of intermediaries and the actions that they and rights holders can take collectively to address counterfeiting and piracy. The conference aimed to cultivate a balanced and constructive dialogue between the different parties involved in the manufacturing, distribution and sale of legitimate goods, and seeked to develop concrete ideas on how to mitigate the risk of counterfeits and pirated products infiltrating the global supply chain.
