Highly rated intellectual property law firm AA Thornton IP LLP has an opportunity for a full time experienced Patent Administrator to join our high performing team supporting some of the world’s leading Patent Attorney’s.

 

Who are we looking for?

You will be able to use your knowledge to work autonomously across the full range of patent administrative processes with a high level of accuracy and pro-activity.

Our ideal candidate will have work experience linked to the successful completion of the CIPA Administrator Certificate or equivalent role/experience within an IP Firm or Corporate IP team.  Experience of processing incoming case related correspondence, managing due dates/deadlines, liaising with clients and service providers, fee earner inbox management and the ability to proactively tailor standard client correspondence accurately, is essential.  Experience of using Inprotech would be ideal, although transferable experience of using equivalent databases would be considered.  As part of this full and varied role, the successful candidate will also provide PA support to our fee earners to include arrangements for business trips and Business Development/Marketing activities.
