On Thursday 10 July A.A. Thornton & Co. took part in the 10th Standard Chartered Great City Race, raising money for the “Seeing is believing” charity, a global initiative to help eradicate avoidable blindness.
The 5km corporate running race started and finished at The Honourable Artillery Grounds, and lead the 5000+ runners, including Paula Radcliffe and Liverpool FC legends – John Aldridge, David Johnson, Phil Neal and Alan Kennedy through the closed off streets of the city of London.
A.A. Thornton & Co. were amongst 385 companies taking part in the race and were delighted to rank 218th out of 726 teams in the men’s race and 72nd out of 283 teams in the women’s race.
